Design Stages

If you choose to have a bespoke design, I will visit you to talk about your ideas, bringing the standard designs with me for reference, and if you have a favourite colour, or sample of fabric etc, we can discuss how to incorporate this into your own unique design.

I should be able to give you an approximate price at this point, dependant on the materials we decide to use. Alternatively, we can discuss what options are available within a particular budget. Any other items you require can be discussed, and if not part of our standard range I can obtain quotes, samples etc.

I will then produce a minimum of three samples based on your ideas, all within the agreed price range, within two weeks of our first appointment. Samples would normally be of Invitations only, and there is no charge for this service.

If you require a full or part set of samples, e.g., Menu, Place card etc. there will be a small non-refundable charge at this point for materials, and these may take longer than two weeks. Any charge made at this time will be deducted from your order.

I will then visit you again so that you can view the samples and decide which one you prefer. If you would like to make any changes to the design at this point, we can agree on these and a further sample will be produced for your approval within two weeks. Again, a small charge will be made where more than just an Invitation sample is required.

Once you have given final approval on the design of your choice, chosen which items of stationery you require and decided on how many of each, I will calculate the total cost for you. A 50% deposit will be payable at this point, by cash or cheque. Production of stationery will not begin until cheques are cleared.

I will need your wording for the Invitation/Order of Service/Menu etc as soon as possible, but no later than 4 weeks before the order is due for delivery (3 weeks for menus and place cards). I will post out a sample of the printed wording/menu within a week of receipt of the details, and this should be returned with any amendments or with signed approval by return of post. A visit can be arranged to finalise the wording if necessary.

As soon as your order is ready for delivery, I will let you know, and will arrange to deliver the items at an agreed time. The balance of the order is payable on delivery, and must be by cash or cheque.

Delivery is free within a 30 mile radius of Peterlee, this area includes all the major centres of the North East. For delivery to areas outside of this radius, and initial visits to areas over 60 miles away, a small charge will be made to cover expenses of 40p per additional mile.

All mileage expenses are payable on arrival.
